I took delivery of my 2024 Mercedes 2500 170 (MB) fully built out by Tommy Campervans (TCV) 6 months ago which has provided me the opportunity to truly put the van to the test bigtime. This product has proven to be superior and has exceeded expectations by a large margin. TCV facilitated the MB Sprinter purchase resulting in a significant discount on my beautiful Sprinter vehicle. I chose a standard floor plan and their team worked with me to add the custom specs I wanted including extra batteries and solar power/panels. The quality of the build is outstanding, they know from experience how to wire, insulate, install and construct the van build to withstand major offroad beatings. If I had to pick a favorite feature of the van it is the shower, with exquisite tiles and build coupled with a marine hot water heater that delivers perfectly. I love a shower and it is great to have that feature along with an auxiliary water tank where the spare tire usually sits. The diesel furnace is installed perfectly and warms the van up immediately along with the AC to keep it cool in the desert. They facilitated the suspension lift as well which turned out to be exactly tuned to my hardcore offroad desert boondocking demands. Along the way they respond instantly to questions and the few fixes that any new van will require as you put it to the test. The passion, expertise and professionalism Mikey, Nate, Ryan and my build team exhibited goes way beyond expectations. TCV is value based delivering a product, quality and experience that is aligned with the cost of the project. They have the contacts and long term relationships to negotiate costs with vendors which I believe keeps the overall costs more than competitive. You cannot find a better, more dedicated and creative team than Tommy Campervans. Their reviews prove it and now my review joins the many others that are delighted to have made the right choice. A choice that is crucial considering the investment of time and money we put into these vans and the enjoyment and demands we put onto these vans. It’s solid, reliable and SO stylish. They can customize them with so many different accessories and their prices are really competitive. I added running boards & bigger tires & I'm very happy with the upgrades. A van is a big purchase so it was nice to deal with guys who really care about their customers and have great follow through. This company is the real deal. The van sourcing process and the design process were smooth and easy. The quality of the finished conversion came out better than I expected! Mikey (owner) is trustworthy and when any issues came up, he stepped up and handled them personally. Years Ago we began scouring the market for the perfect fit to the specs I was adamant about. By the time we landed the AWD Sprinter , at a solid discount I might add , I’d moved halfway across the country and torn my ACL. This speed bump in my life was no match for these guys. Not only did they have my dream home-on-wheels out the door by my Surgery Day, they’ve been a PhoneCall away for any questions big or small I’ve ever had You’d be doing yourself a disservice if you went with anyone other than the TommyFamily
